1 cup Sliced Almonds
1 cup Almond Flour
2 Egg Whites
1/2 cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
100gms Dark Chocolate

Almond & Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients


  • Preheat oven 350F/180C
  • ​Place the egg whites in a bowl
  • ​Beat the egg whites with a mixer until fluffy
  • ​Gradually add the sugar in the egg whites & mix together
  • ​Add the vanilla essence & lemon juice
  • ​Add the almond flour & sliced almonds & mix together
  • Use a small icecream scoop to take a small piece of the dough
  • ​Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper
  • ​Use the back of a spoon to flatten the cookie
  • ​Bake for 25-30 minutes
  • ​Set aside & cool completely
  • ​Place some boiling water in a small saucepan
  • ​Place a bowl on top & heat on medium heat
  • Add the chocolate in the bowl
  • ​Stir the melted chocolate
  • ​Set aside to cool down
  • ​Place a small ziplock bag in a glass
  • ​Add the melted chocolate in the ziplock
  • Squeeze the chocolate to a corner
  • Cut a small slit in the corner
  • ​Decorate the cookies with the melted chocolate
