Ingredients

  • Melt the butter to a frypan on high heat
  • Add the brown sugar & cinnamon until it caramalizes
  • Add the diced apples
  • Mix together & cook until the apples are soft
  • Place the apple mixture on a plate to cool down
  • Place the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, cardamom & salt in a sift
  • Sift all together in a bowl
  • Add the egg, sour cream & vanilla essence
  • Mix together
  • Add the apple mixture in the batter & mix together
  • Spray non stick spray to a donut hole baking tray
  • Place a spoonful of the batter in the baking tray
  • Bake at 420F/210C for 10-15 minutes
  • Cool down & flip on a wire tray for 10 minutes
  • Decorate with icing sugar

3 Apples (peeled & diced)
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 Egg (room temperature)
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cardamom
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar 
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 tablespoons Butter
