Cake Ingredients
French Vanilla Cake Mix
1 cup Milk
3 Eggs
½ cup Vegetable Oil

Filling Ingredients
2 cups Crushed Walnuts
½ teaspoon Cardamom
Banana Instant Pudding/Custard
2 cups Cold Milk

Cool Whip/Whipped Cream
1 Banana
Crushed Pistachios

 

Banana Walnut Custard Cream Cake

Directions

Ingredients 

  • Preheat oven 350F or 180C
  •   Place the cake mix in a mixer
  • Add the milk & mix
  • Add the vegetable oil & mix
  •  Add the eggs one at a time & mix
  • Spray a rectangle oven dish with non stick baking spray
  • Pour the cake batter in the baking dish
  • Tap the dish to remove air bubbles
  • Bake the cake for 35-40 mins
  • Let it cool completely

    To make the filling:

  • Add the banana custard powder in a bowl
  • Pour the milk & whisk
  • Whisk until the custard thickens
  • In a separate bowl add the cardamom in the crushed walnuts & mix together
  • Add the walnut mixture in the custard & mix together
  • Poke holes in the cake with the back of a wooden spoon
  • Pour the custard mixture on the cake
  • Spread evenly through the holes
  • Place in the fridge to set for 1 hour
  • Slice the banana
  • Place the whipped cream on top of the cakE
  • Spread evenly
  • Place the banana slices on top of the cream
  • Garnish with crushed pistachios
