Bushala with Green Vegetables


1 litre Full Cream Yoghurt
1 cup Rice
3 cups Cold Water

150gms Baby Spinach

1 bunch Swiss Chard (chopped)

1 bunch Celery (sliced)
1 teaspoon Salt 


  • Wash the rice and strain
  • Mix the yoghurt, cold water and salt together
  • Add the yoghurt mixture into a large pot and boil on med- high heat and keep stirring
  • Add the rice and stir for 15 minutes
  • ​Add the celery and stir
  • Add the swiss chard and stir until it softens
  • Add the baby spinach and stirfor 20 minutes
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes
