Directions

Ingredients 

Shorbat Qarnabeet / Cauliflower Stew

  • Boil the meat on low heat in cold water in a pot until tender
  • Strain & remove the cooked meat
  • Remove the core from the cauliflower and cut & separate small pieces of cauliflower
  • On high heat add the oil in the pot
  • Fry the cauliflower & the onion
  • ​Add the cooked meat, tomato paste, salt & pepper, curry & chilli powders
  • Add 3-4 cups of boiling water & stir all together
  • Cover & cook on low heat for 30 minutes
  • ​Stir occasionally 


​Serve with white rice!

1 head of Cauliflower
1/2 kilo Stewing Beef
1 Onion (diced)
1 can Tomato Paste (156ml)
2 tablespoons Light Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
1/2 teaspoon Chilli Powder
3-4 cups Boiling Water
