Ingredients

  • Preheat oven 350F or 180C 
  • Sift the flour, cocoa powder & cardamom together
  • Add the sugar & butter in a mixer and cream together
  • Add the egg
  • Add the almond extract
  • ​Gradually add the flour mixture
  • Use an ice-cream scoop or spoon to make round balls
  • Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper & flatten
  • Place on the bottom shelf & bake for 15 minutes
  • Move to top shelf for 10 minutes
  • Place them on a cooling rack for 20 minutes
  • Roughly chop the pistachios
  • Melt the dark chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan with water on medium heat
  • Place a spoonful of the melted chocolate on top of the biscuits
  • Sprinkle the chopped pistachios on top

1 & 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Butter ( room temperature)

1/4 cup Cocoa Powder

1 Egg

1 teaspoon Cardamom

1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract


Raw Pistachios
