Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 deg F or 180 deg C
  • Cut the end of the figs & cut the insides of the figs
  • Sift flour, salt, baking powder, cardamon & vanilla powder in a separate bowl and mix
  • Add the walnuts in the flour mixture & mix together
  • Add the oil and sugar in a mixer and mix together
  • Add the eggs one at a time
  • Add the chopped figs
  • Add spoonfuls of the flour mixture
  • Add some milk
  • Alternate flour & milk
  • Spray a bundt pan with non stick spray
  • Pour the batter in the pan
  • Tap the pan for air bubbles
  • Bake for 1 hour or until its baked inside with a tooth pick test
  • ​Let it cool before flipping over

Fig & Walnut Cake

3 cups All Purpose Flour
1 cup Crushed Walnuts
18 Fresh Figs
3 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Milk
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1 teaspoon Vanilla Powder
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cardamon
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Baking Powder
