6 pieces of Quarter Leg Chicken

Zaatar Blend
300gms Baby Potatoes 
(washed & cut in half)
1 Lemon
1 cup Baby Carrots
Sea Salt

Oven Baked Chicken with Za'atar

  • Preheat oven to 450F or 230C
  • Cut the lemon in & squeeze the lemon juice
  • Place the potatoes & carrots in an oven dish 
  • Drizzle some oil on top
  • ​Pour half of the lemon juice on top
  • Season with some sea salt
  • Spoon some zaatar over the top of the vegetables
  • Mix with your hands
  • Drizzle some oil in a large oven dish for the chicken
  • Place the chicken pieces in the dish
  • Drizzle some oil on top of the chicken
  • Pour the rest of the lemon juice on top
  • Spoon some zaatar on top of the chicken
  • Season with some sea salt
  • Rub all the ingredients in the chicken
  • Cover both with aluminium foil
  • ​Bake the potatoes covered for 40 mins then uncovered for 20 mins
  • Bake the chicken covered for 1 & 1/2 hours covered then 1 hour uncovered​
