3 cups Basmati Long Grain Rice
4-5 tablespoons Tomato Paste
4 tablespoons Light Olive Oil
1 tablespoons Salt
Boiling Water

Red Rice

  • Soak the Rice in water for 1/2 an hour
  • Drain & Rinse the rice
  • Heat the olive oil in a saucepan until hot
  • Fry the rice for a minute
  • Add the tomato paste and mix
  • Add the boiling water to the rim of the rice
  • Add the salt and stir
  • Cover with the lid
  • Simmer on low for 25 mins
  • Turn off and stir once and leave to rest for 10 mins
