300gms chopped frozen Spinach (thawed)

1/2 kilo Stewing Beef

1 cup Baby Carrots (sliced) 
1 can 156ml Tomato Paste
1 teaspoon Citric Acid
1 teaspoon Salt
3 cups Boiling water

  • Boil the meat in cold water in a pot until tender
  • Drain the water from the meat when it's cooked
  • Add the spinach, tomato paste, carrots, citric acid and salt to the pot and add boiling water and stir all together
  • Simmer on medium heat for 1/2 an hour and mix regularly


Serve with white rice
