1 cup Red Lentils
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 Onion
2 tablespoons Light Olive Oil
3-4 cups Boiling Water

​Vermicelli Pasta or 85gms Noodles

Tlokhe /Red Lentil Soup

Ingredients

  • Rinse the red lentils
  • Dice the onion
  • Add the olive oil in a pot
  • Fry the onion and red lentils in the pot
  • Add the curry powder, salt and stir
  • Add boiling water & noodles, stir and simmer for 1/2 an hour
